We are excited to open out theatre and concert season with An Evening of Opera, in collaboration with Opera Orlando, on Wednesday, September 23, beginning at 7:00 p.m. In addition to performing artists from Opera Orlando, this concert will feature high school vocalists Allie Sholtis, Sofia Marrero, Luisa Luo, Jayson Goldner, Rachel Jolley, and the Little Laker Voices. The Opera Orlando artists include soprano Samantha Barnes Daniel, tenor John Texeira, and mezzo-soprano Sarah Purser. This is a concert of arias, trios, and choruses by the composer/lyricist duo of Gilbert and Sullivan, who are renowned for their Operettas of the early late 19th century.
