Who We Are

Our Mission

Through active participation in the arts, students are guided to become well-rounded global citizens. Just as they are confident in academic pursuits, they are empowered to develop a deep appreciation of the arts. We see the potential in every student as an artist and promote artistic modes of thinking through our engaging programs in dance, music, theatre arts, and the visual arts. The arts are taught by a committed and inspiring faculty, who nurture talent, values the learning process of an arts student and provides exceptional opportunities for artistic expression.

Through process-orientated experiences in the performing & visual arts, students at Windermere Preparatory School receive an exceptional and inspiring arts education, where they are empowered to pursue their creative passions, achieve artistic excellence and enjoy a highly engaging and challenging environment.

Jason King

Director of Fine Arts/School Administration

At Windermere Preparatory School, the performing and visual arts are not only an integral part of our curriculum—they are our passion. The processes of creation and exploration form the cornerstone of our philosophy.

Our students are provided with many Performing & Visual Arts opportunities at Windermere Preparatory School. We are deeply committed to the learning process, and setting expectations high for all of our students. Though creativity is spontaneous and natural in children, we encourage our students to explore, imagine, and dream big. Through collaboration, our students inspire and challenge each other to new levels of artistry.

It is an honor to be appointed as the Director of Fine Arts for Windermere Preparatory School. It is my distinct pleasure to work with an esteemed faculty and staff of professionals each and every day.

I believe that everyone deserves an arts education. Therefore, it is a true pleasure to advocate for the arts and to collaborate with the people who create and develop world-class arts education programs for the children and parents I have the pleasure to serve.

As we continue our journey into the world of arts, please don’t hesitate to contact me by calling: 407-905-7737, ext. 3391 or by email at jason.king@windermereprep.com.

The best is yet to come and I look forward to meeting you!

Kindest Regards,

Jason R. King
